Meerkat African Spirit is a 56 stitch repeat +4. The chains below include the anchor stitches, the last stitch and the turning chain.
1 repeat, chain 60.
2 repeats, chain 116.
3 repeats, chain 172.
4 repeats, chain 228.
You can use any thickness yarn for this pattern, I used DK acrylic yarn, approximately 80g 218m of the background colour and 50g 136m of the detailed colour.

Welcome!
I create overlay mosaic crochet patterns, I love how creative I can be with just single and double crochet stitches.
I create simple to more complex patterns such as center out techniques, there’s pictorial help and video links in the downloads.
You might notice that all of my patterns have the words spirit or flow in the names, this is my dedication to my late father who was a drummer in a number of bands in the 80’s called “With the Flow” and “Kindled Spirit” and I chose to put those words into my pattern names.
