Bohemian Spirit - Throw

Thank you for your interest in my latest design, Bohemian Spirit. I love the Bohemian theme, and I wanted to create something different to my usual designs. Bohemian Spirit is an overlay mosaic crochet pattern written in US terms and has a fully written pattern in this PDF, a full chart of the whole pattern and separate charts in separate PDFs so please check your library where you purchased for the extra PDFs. At the end of the PDF are my testers information on their projects.

With overlay mosaic crochet all single crochet stitches go into the back loop of the stitch and all double crochet stitches go into the front loop of the stitch 2 rows below which will be of the same colour. You cut the yarn at the end of every row and join new yarn at the start of every row, the ends will either be left to create a fringe, or you can create an envelope border, I have a PDF in the files of my Facebook group.

I used 4ply Hobbi Twister, Light Elegance 11, 416g, 1,336m. Twister Solid in Plum 116, 1128m. I used a size 2.5 hook which is smaller than I would normally use but I created a wall hanging. For the border I used an extra 70g of Twister solid Plum.

The pattern consists of 227 stitches by 243 rows and measures 92/78cm with 4ply yarn
142/140cm With double knit yarn
152/167cm With Aran/worsted weight yarn
