Enchanted Deer Spirit - Throw
Thanks for your interest in Enchanted Deer Spirit. I wanted to create a blanket with a touch of magical enchantment with the deers antlers being oversized and containing creatures, flowers and birds, I hope that you like the design and create your own.
This is an overlay mosaic crochet pattern.

The finished size in DK yarn is approximately 152cm (60 inches) wide by 140cm (55 inches).
The finished size in 4ply yarn is (with the border) 119cm (47 inches) wide by 107cm (42 inches).
The pattern is 257/222 stitches.
2 contrasting colours are needed to create this design.
Approximately 6 balls of the detailed colour and 7 balls of the background colour, plus an extra ball or two for the border, depending how thick you want it.

Welcome!
I create overlay mosaic crochet patterns, I love how creative I can be with just single and double crochet stitches.
I create simple to more complex patterns such as center out techniques, there’s pictorial help and video links in the downloads.
You might notice that all of my patterns have the words spirit or flow in the names, this is my dedication to my late father who was a drummer in a number of bands in the 80’s called “With the Flow” and “Kindled Spirit” and I chose to put those words into my pattern names.
